The other day I received a PDF file (Portable Document Format file) as attachment to an email. I wanted a print copy of it. So, I downloaded it to My Document of computer. But the file could not be printed as the printing machine did not support direct PDF printing. Then I found a way to print with this printing machine: I right-clicked on the PDF file and chose Convert PDF to Microsoft Word (Nitro PDF Professional) in the menu that appeared. With that I converted the PDF file into a Word document file. Now it was easy to print the Word file! You can also download Adobe Reader and install it to print like this, (and also to read or view PDF files).
Some interesting features of PDF:
1) It captures formatting information for viewing.
2) It has controls that limit its copying, editing and printing.
3) It has to be read with a reading software e.g. Adobe Reader.
4) Printable document from it must be saved in Bitmaps.
5) It can be converted into Text document using special converters.
6) Or a Text document can be converted into PDF file with a converter (here: conversion is free!).
