While inserting the 'Read More' link to a post of my other Blogger blog there was a bizarre thing that happened to the Home page of the blog: all the texts were blackened out; but only the pictures found on the page stood out enthralling on the black background! I felt sad about it. Then I tried all the means for removing the effect - by deleting the 'Read More' html tag from the Edit Html page of the Blogger Post Editor, inserting it again and then publishing the post, and like leaving some space between the html tag and the texts etc., etc. But that bad effect kept on recurring each time I published. I began to feel bad about the 'Read More' insertion, and vowed not to use it anymore next in my blogs if at all this effect was corrected by some means. Defeated also in adding the 'Reads More' link I felt sorrow. Dejected, as a last measure I deleted the 'Read More' html tag and published the post to recover back the blog. I got back my full blog intact with the freshly posted post! Yes, you can see here that post next to that first post (click on Older Posts to see this) that bears my first 'Read More' link addition.
Later I found out the mistake that I committed: I had earlier typed that blog post in Microsoft Word document and uploaded it to Google Docs to publish it to that Blogger blog. That is the mistake. There was no such bizarre blackening effect with the posts prepared in Google Docs or the Blogger Post Editor! I realized this fact when I tried once again with the new idea of retrying the 'Read More' insertion as I did for publishing that first post - in Google Docs.
