Rewordify text & improve readability!

If a text contains already known and commonly used simple words, it will convey you all the message that it expects you to understand (.... wait, wait! Am I conveying you my message in simple words? I wonder about it!). Suppose, the text contains new words the meanings of which you don't know; then what will you do? Simply put it aside and refrain from reading it? No, no. You need not do so. Simply place that text in the box of this website and click on Rewordify text button; it analyzes it and replaces the hard words with easier words for you - to improve its readability! After simplifying, it highlights also those simplified words; try this website: Rewordify Text!
Explore also those many other amazing features found in this website that makes your learning English both easy and fun.

Here read again my above blog post content, that has been presented after it is rewordified in this website; inform me how the readability has been now improved :)

Computer restarting problem, Start normally!

It was an irritating affair for me for the past three months: my computer failed in the middle of surfing the Internet - not once; but went on so repeatedly: the computer screen displayed the next three options for proceeding further; the first one was 'Start windows normally.' Whenever I selected this 'Start windows normally' and entered, the session lasted only for a few minutes and went on again to display those three options for starting the computer! I learnt from this that whenever I hit the Enter key as soon as the options are displayed, the session lasted for more minutes than before; but this technique too failed in the next such few attempts. What has happened to the computer? I searched in the Internet for tips and applied my elementary knowledge; but it also failed. Computer mechanic too went on postponing, for long, his attending to this problem. My son found out the culprit causing this repeated restarting nuisance. Yes, it is only the wooly dust that had totally blocked the fins' spaces of Processor cooling-fan-motor-heatsink.

After clearing all these dust with a brush, the computer behaved itself normally - restored to its normalcy - without any repeated nuisance of displaying 'Start windows normally':) How could have such a large amount of dust gone inside for blocking? Probably, it was due to the daily sweeping of the room floor when the computer was on for working on it.What do you think about it? Any suggestions regarding this?

Preserving our sparrows by Citizen Sparrow!

In the previous year 2012, the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) started a project called Citizen Sparrow to record the presence or absence of sparrows in India. The project allowed anyone of the public to participate in it. Public enter their past and the present observations on sparrows in its website with a questionnaire. The compiled data is studied and the report is also published on a map for anyone  in the world to view.

Though Citizen Sparrow project ended in June 2012, it operates now also, inviting entries in the website. All these are done for finding out places where the sparrow population is declining, and for bringing it back to the normal population as it was before.
Sparrow population has declined worldwide; let us prevent our sparrow disappear as an extinct bird from the world.

Turn off Search History in Google

When we use Google, our Search history is being automatically recorded. If any one wishes to have privacy in his search, is there any way to stop such recording? Yes, Google offers a convenient way of turning off this history: search a sample word in Google and get the results for it. Now click on the gear icon seen on the right top corner of the result page. Then click on the Web History in the list. Sign in on this history page; the displayed page contains all your past web search history. You can either check the box and remove all of them. Or you can proceed to turn off the history-recording by clicking on the gear icon that is now presented on the corner. Click Settings in the list; then click on the Turn off tab. From now onwards your Search history will not be recorded!
Note that if you had already kept Gmail account signed in, it is easy then for this turning off: the gear icon will be there ready for you by itself for your clicking and that leads you then to turn off Search history!

Tips to revert to old Facebook from Timeline

The other day there was a report that my friend's old Facebook profile suddenly changed to the new 'Timeline'. I searched for reverting to the old profile; I came across many such tips:

1. Download and install Fb Timeline remove browser extensions/addons produced by Creative Programmers.
2. Use mobile version of Fb to login instead of its computer version: m.facebook.com
3. Deactivate Fb account for only 10 minutes and then activate it.
4. Use old versions of Internet Explorer browsers like IE 7 or IE 6.
5. Revert the process of enabling Fb Timline: visit the Facebook Developer web page and delete apps. (click Edit and then the Delete on the left pane and then go to the Fb page.

You can use these tips if you want to revert from your present Timeline to the old one. Even though you get thus the old Fb, your friends will see it only in Timeline until they too do as you did.

MEGA after Megaupload - a news!

I had seen in the past an advertisement about a website constantly appearing in all the web pages I viewed. Suddenly that advertisement disappeared and is not seen for the past one year. It is the Megaupload.com advertisement. Now there is news that the founder of that website, Mr. Kim Dotcom has started a new file-sharing website under the name, MEGA

The Megaupload.com which was also a file-sharing website, was then closed one year back due to an online piracy case filed on it. MEGA is started after one year correct to the date of Megaupload's closure in the previous year - on 20th January 2013.

This new website is said to be legal now and for online privacy. And offering cloud storage with encryption, so that its users only can know what they are uploading.

Viewing International Space Station

As you might know that International Space Station is in its orbit 200 miles above the Earth with all its on board staff members; it revolves around the Earth since its inception in the year 2000. It can be viewed worldwide with our bare eyes like we see aeroplanes on the sky. But when does it passes over the sky on your place, so that you can view it? For this NASA offers the web users a website. One can register his location in this website with his e-mail address in five steps. Whenever the International Space Station (ISS) is about to cross over your sky, NASA sends alert mails to your email inbox or text messages to your mobile phone that you registered with it. The space station usually passes over from once or twice a week to once or twice a month. You are enabled thus to see the station fairly for a longer time over the clear sky, with this website's help --> Spot The Station!

Gmail's Sifymail or Sifymail's Gmail?

Email providers differ in rendering their services. For example, with Gmail account one can send a mail content to many persons with all their mail addresses inserted in 'To' box. But with Sifymail, that is now upgraded with the same Gmail's most of apps, such sending is a limited one. Since it is a free service, it is the mail provider's choice whether to allow such sending out many mails or not. But once such sending of mails is attempted - even by mistake, the Sifymail begins not only to block next such sending but also blocks further sending of any mail from the mail account! The account holder is banned for one day; now he can receive and read mails only! Is this a sort of punishment? If it is so, instead of this, such mail providers can consider to convert their 'service' into a paid service - as email is meant for both sending and receiving only.
